READ THE LIMITS
A signal is not a verdict.
- A matching checksum shows file integrity, not that the file is harmless.
- A checksum copied from an untrusted page cannot establish publisher trust.
- Choose the exact algorithm stated by the publisher; SHA-256 and SHA-512 outputs are different lengths.
- Files are processed locally and are not uploaded by this tool.
